5 places still hot in October because summer isn't over yet. For beach holidays, by October, hotel prices often drop significantly compared to the peak summer months. And in these five places, it's still warm enough to spend a day at the beach. Southern Greece. Number one Greece, especially the southern islands and roads. They're still hitting 23 to 25 degrees in October with the ocean being warm enough for a swim. Southern Spain. Andalusia is one of my all-time favorite places to travel and it's still beautifully sunny in October with temperatures of around 24 to 27 degrees across the Costa del Sol. And if that's still not warm enough for you, the Canary Islands are still beautifully warm year-round anyway. Cyprus. Number three, Cyprus, one of the warmest destinations in the Mediterranean in October with daily highs of around 26 to 28 degrees. Sicily. Number four, Sicily. Temperatures still reach around 24 to 25 degrees, making it perfect for late coastal trips and long dinners outside. Malta. Number five, Malta. Still sitting in around 24 to 26 degrees with warm sea temperatures and so much sunshine.
