I'm Blythe and I believe it only takes like three to nine months to completely rearrange your life and today I'm gonna help you do that by giving you four ways to surrender to the things that you cannot control. For tangible tips. I know it feels like there's nothing you can do when things are out of your control, but there are. And I'm gonna give them to you. One, you're exactly where your feet are. Decide that nothing else matters except for whatever is right in front of you, literally and figuratively in this chapter of your life. We have to drop into the present moment because we cannot control anything in the past and we cannot control anything in the future. And so when you're feeling like you have to surrender to things you cannot control, you have to go to the place where you can control things, which is the present moment. You can control what you do today and how you react and respond to what you do today. So you need to tap into that. Be where your feet are. Two, you need to find an outlet for stuck energy. Run, scream at the top of your lungs, hike, sing, do yoga, do breathwork, whatever you need to do to move the energy through your body. Because if you don't move this discomfort through your body, it's just gonna get stuck there and form barnacles that you'll have to deal with later on in life. Get it out now. Process it through your body. Surrendering to the things you cannot control is uncomfortable and that lives in your bones and your muscles and your body. And we just have to move that energy. And whatever way works for you. Three, you need to start a new project or a new hobby. This is absolutely essential because when you have things that you cannot control, you need to tap back into the things you can start control. Start something new. It is so refreshing. It will give you a new lease on life. I promise. Now is the time to start that thing that you've had in the back of your mind for years. Now is the time to start it. Pick up the instrument, learn a new language, take dance classes or vocal lessons, whatever it is that you wanna do, choose something that you can commit to and do it weekly or regularly enough that you can start to see progress and see growth. Because that's going to be so helpful to have something to focus on, to have a little self-focus project to focus on while you're in the midst of surrendering to the discomfort of not being able to control something else. Four, you need to trust that everything is happening exactly on time. You cannot rush a garden into growing. We have to be patient. Trust the natural timing of the process. Trust that whatever is happening now is paving the way for whatever is coming next. I like to say I'm exactly where I'm meant to be at all times, literally and figuratively. Even to the point where if I'm in frustration, anger, tension, I know that that's intentional for me because what I do with that experience is going to shift and pivot my path. If I'm experiencing tension and frustration, I'm going to make different choices than I would have if I wasn't experiencing that. And that's gonna lead me to a new path of growth. It will probably lead me somewhere really cool and awesome. You never know what's around the corner for you. So just trust the timing of your life. If you liked this, I post on Substack every other Thursday and I also am gonna start posting more on Instagram. I would love to have you over there. I'm trying to build my following over there and I only have a mere 600 followers. So come find me there. I'm gonna start posting more weekly challenges that are like that. I love you. Goodbye.
