Hi, I'm Blythe and I believe it only takes like three to nine minutes to completely rearrange your life. And today I'm gonna give you six life lessons I've learned through friendship breakups. One, beautiful connections do not have to last forever in order to be meaningful and important. Things can hold a huge piece of your life, a huge chapter, a huge corner of your heart and still end. And the ending doesn't take away any of that beauty. Two, it's better to let someone go than to hold on to someone who is holding you back from the brightest version of you. If you are in any way being dimmed by someone, it's time to walk away, baby. Three, sometimes people grow and in different directions and that's perfectly okay. It's actually beautiful and it's actually a beautiful thing to acknowledge because then you can make adjustments and turn towards the path of your own growth instead of forcing yourself down a path where you're no longer growing. Four, things do not end because they failed. They end because it was time for them to end. You did not fail. It was just time. Five, the story someone carries of you is none of your business. It's not. And six, closure is often something you have to give yourself. It's a slow scabbing over a wound, picking at it day by day until one day you stop picking at it because you decide you don't need someone else's permission in order to heal.
