Hook
an unpopular opinion but you cannot convince me that return to office is not just an anti-women policy. Because yesterday was my second day in the office. I had to get up at 6 to get to the office by like 8 or 8:30. I had my first meeting at 9. I didn't get done my meetings until 5, which means I didn't get home until like 6:45, almost 7 o'clock. I still had to cook dinner. By the time I was done cooking dinner and connecting with my husband, I didn't even have time to go to the gym. And I just kept thinking like, damn, what if I had kids? I wouldn't have been able to even go to bed after I cooked dinner and connected with him because I would have had to do bath time and routine. Like, I don't understand how with how much society has evolved, we can genuinely say we really care about advancing equity and representation, especially at the female level when it comes to corporate organizations and like the C suite and boards. If we don't get rid of these antiquated policies. The math just isn't mathing.
