Unpopular opinion if you're a salaried employee that works at a corporate job at an organization that has fortune it, because you're not my target audience. Your the bridge you burn today, you might walk across tomorrow. You don't want to leave a bad taste in somebody's mouth, especially someone that could potentially give you a referral in the future. As big as the world may seem, the industry and when you're bumping around different companies, nine times out of 10, you're gonna run into someone who knew you or knew of you at another company that you worked at together. Not only that, the two week period after you put in your notice is so blissful, you're either frustrated or sad that you're leaving and they leave you alone because they can't even believe that you have the courage and look somewhere else and leave. Or number two, if you're saying in the same industry and going to another competitor, as soon as you give your notice, you're gonna have to put you on garden leave and walk you out the same day anyway, because they don't want you trading information.
