Spend day with me as a fashion buyer. I'm going to be doing these weekly, so no gym this morning because it was hair wash day and this was the outfit of the day. Wow, I was very posed. This morning, I quickly had to fix an hour before I went to work. I do my buy-ups. It's actually the best thing I've ever learned how to do. So, this was actually from Monday and the first thing we do on a Monday is look at the week that's just been and go through trade, figure out what worked, what didn't. So, no one kind of talks for the first two hours. We went through new arrivals and then Denim actually launched this week, which apparently has like a bit of a cult following. So, we called in some samples so we could take a little bit of content for our social teams. This was us doing a bit of a haul in the middle of the office. And then, not a lot of people know that we actually start Korean skincare now. So, we had a few samples from the beauty team. Went downstairs, made some TikToks in our new, uh, Motel Rocks Denim. The way she was filming in the middle of the foyer was killing me. And then went back up, did a bit more work, had a few more meetings to go to. We started prepping for a brand meeting we had. We were actually seeing only. And then we're looking at what's coming next week, just to kind of get a picture. And then we get into trades. So, obviously, whenever we meet with a brand, we want to talk about what's performing well, what's not, like how we're going to do better. And then we're just heading into a new season. So, very exciting. And then we get into the fun stuff, which is looking at new products. This is by far my favorite thing about my job, like I love seeing new products. It's like so fun and inspiring and I want to go out and buy things and want to go out and buy things. And our brands are just getting better and better as well. All this new product looks so good. I'm so excited. So, this will be for like February, March. You can see lace and stripes are not going anywhere anytime soon. So, we choose our selections, what we think is going to work the best on The Iconic. And then we wrapped up and went home. I made a tea. I reckon in winter, I have like five teas a day. I know it's not good for you, but I can't stop. I'm freezing cold. I did a little bit more work. Oh, and Beginning Boutique launched this week as well, which is super exciting. I went crazy with my employee discount last week, so I bought a few things. This is only half of it. Had to run to the post office. I swear this is my least favorite chore, like why is it so annoying to go to the post office? And then went for a walk because we were like, wow, such a beautiful afternoon. And two seconds later, it started hailing out of nowhere, like instantly. It was crazy. And then went home, had some beef ragu and watched The Dragon, and that was my day.
