You don’t get to ignore what your target market is telling you by playing the halal/haram card. You don’t get to dismiss critical thinkers by calling it “hate.” You don’t get to label consumers as bullies because they’re finally sharing their experiences. You don’t get to tell me I should’ve “just messaged businesses privately” when I’ve spent the last seven months educating people on fabrics, construction, quality, pricing, the cost of running a business, and the realities of the fashion industry. … And you don’t get to justify inflated prices with, “But overheads.” No. That era is over. That chapter is closed. It’s time for the consumer to have a voice, and to be heard. So if accountability feels like an attack, ask yourself why. If your first reaction was to attack the messenger instead of engaging with the message, maybe work on your critical thinking skills. *** I’m calling it now: the businesses with the biggest problem are the ones to stay away from. It’s that simple, actually. Those of you who have a problem with my reviews are the ones who do not deserve our money.*** So get used to it. The days of consumers staying quiet are over. This is the movement I’ve created. And I will not back down. #OOTD #rant #review #fyp #muslim
