It’s Father’s Day. Those who get it, get it. Those who don’t, can scroll on. … I’m filled with so much rage, anger, concern, heartbreak and fear. I’m angry at myself for so much, too. How much of yourself do you sacrifice trying to protect your children from the consequences of someone else’s inconsistency? If I didn’t care about my children’s wellbeing, I’d have so much to share. But I do! So some things will remain unsaid. Forever. I’m putting this here as a reminder to myself: protecting my children doesn’t mean I have to keep sacrificing myself.
