I was born and raised as a Jehovah’s Witness. They are experts at brainwashing people without them really realizing it. I was forced to go door to door as a kid. With this idea planted in my head that if I didn’t go door to door, I’d parish is Jehovahs new kingdom and even if I didn’t want to, Jehovah could read my thoughts and knew that I didn’t want to go so my heart was not pure. I’m curious how this all started. How did one person convince people that they NEEDED to do this and/or even get involved in this religion to begin with. I know two versions of the history of the religion…. As a Jehovah’s Witness, you are not allowed to look up anything on the internet about the religion. You are only allowed to look it up through the “watchtower library” (controlled and made by them) so growing up, I truly thought that the world and everything was created by Jehovah and that was that. But then there’s the actual version…which was basically just a break off from another religious organization by a guy not super long ago. So how is that possible if Jehovah created everything?
