Being forced to go door to door growing up as a Jehovah’s Witness was incredibly strange. It was an extremely stressful experience. On one hand, your having to sell something to complete strangers at their home with a preset script in your mind and on the other you’re brainwashed into thinking that if you don’t, Jehovah’s will know and read your mind/heart and you won’t live past Armageddon. Gone forever. In reality, it’s just a popularity contest. They often over praise people that talk to a lot of people or spend many hours doing it yet that kinda goes against one of their own teaching…giving praise to anything other than Jehovah. Growing up in this religion/cult gives its members a superior complex, tho they don’t think so. You’re taught that YOU know the “truth” and that YOU are going to live when the end coming.
