Medical Laboratory Science and low salaries... there's another side to this conversation.

Whenever I come on social media and see medical laboratory scientists talking about how poorly paid they are, sometimes I'm tempted to go into the comments and say, well, as a medical laboratory scientist, in fact, choosing medical laboratory science, the career decisions I'm genuinely grateful. But before I type that comment, I usually stop myself because I remember something that's a lot that I know about building a career with a medical laboratory science degree was not taught to me in school. And that's where I think we challenging the status quo. Because maybe the conversation shouldn't only be medical laboratory scientists are poorly paid. Maybe we should be asking, what can I build with this degree? Because your medical laboratory science degree can be a foundation for much more than you may currently see. And that's the conversation we are bringing to Beyond the Bench Masterclass Series.
