Pharmacist Reacts: INSANE HIPAA VIOLATION HAPPENED TO ME.

Okay, I have to be honest, I was watching the video and I was getting more angry for her as I was watching the video. Honestly, she is so nice because I would be name blasting, like, the pharmacist, the general manager of, like, the entire store, because that is insane that they allow her to leave the pharmacy without her medications and someone else has a prescription. Not familiar with Wellbutrin, brand name for Bupropion, non-controlled medication. So the pharmacist could easily of just printed out like a leaflet and filled her prescription and gave it to the wrong person because the pharmacy just was the one like, that made the mistake, not the patient. And then when the pharmacist had the audacity to be like, call the provider, new prescription to fill your medication, they would have had, I would have been like, call him right now. I'm here right now. You made a mistake, you're going to call the doctor and get this fixed right now because especially with Wellbutrin, Bupropion, or like, honestly, any medication, you do not want to go without it. And I was, I would be profusely apologizing and trying to make it better. I would be giving her her, like, three seconds, making sure that she got it, she has no problems. I would also do then is like, we're gonna find out who took this. Sorry. So, honestly, like, what she should be to the board with the name of the pharmacist. And I would call, like, the Walgreens, like, this is. It's honestly, it's not acceptable for be doing that. I know it can be very hectic and crazy. I've worked at Walgreens at a very busy store, but, like, excuse to be treating a patient like that, especially when they are actually very understanding of, like, what happened, and, you know, all they just want is their medication.
