I've been seeing these really cute magnet boards all over my feed lately and I was like why not make my own! And that was exactly what I spent my weekend doing. I immediately headed over to Lowe's and IKEA to get a steel board and frame. I specifically wanted the walnut colored frame but IKEA had a lot of different options and sizes. I ended up going with the walnut colored frame because I just love the wood detail. It was super easy to assemble because I got the exact measurements for both the board and frame. You do have to be very careful because the board is pretty sharp but once you get it in, you're basically done and all you need to do is start decorating your frame. I got some star magnets as well as these hooked magnets so that I can hang up my keychains. I've always been someone that collected a lot of random things so being able to hang them up on the board was so fun for me and it's such a cute and easy project. My boyfriend also ended up making one and he thought it was so fun as well. And yeah, this was how my board turned out and I think it's so cute. I also linked everything I used on my shop my so that it's easier for anyone who wants to make this as well.
