The internet's gonna be so mad at me for sharing this with you. Today we're at Watkins Lake State Park right between Brooklyn, MI and Manchester, MI. This was once all farmland that was sold to the state for 2.9 million in 2016 and donated to the state. The internet says that it's just over 1100 acres. This is the start of the trail. The dog loves it. It's so beautiful. Natural Beauty Road. Made it to the water. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. I'm at 2.37 miles but we ran into a couple on the trail and they said that they were at 4.4 miles where we stopped at Nogales Road. If you keep going up, you can kind of wrap around and it's like planes and it's gorgeous. Located between Jackson County and Washtenaw County. Make sure you check it out.
