If you pray and ask God for certain things, then you better be willing to accept everything that comes with it. You can't just pray for the blessing and don't want to accept everything along the journey. You praying for success but don't want to follow the discipline that it takes to get there. You praying for purpose but don't want to accept the added responsibility and accountability it takes. You praying for growth but don't want to accept the hard seasons and the storms. Majority of the times when we ask God for certain things, he'll give it to us in a totally different way than we expect it. You ask God to change your life so don't be surprised when he start changing you. You can't just pick out bits and pieces of the things you want. Nah, he gonna take you through the whole process. That's preparation. So understand that the next time you send up a prayer that you got to accept everything that comes with it. Keep praying, keep trusting and keep working through the process.
