"Beastfolk Barber" is a narrative game where you run a small barbershop in a city inhabited by all kinds of beastfolk. Every haircut is also a conversation, giving you the chance to learn what each customer wants, what they're struggling with, and who they hope to become. The way you handle each appointment can influence their stories, relationships, tips, and even the game's multiple endings. (Steam Store) The gameplay revolves around listening and observing your customers before choosing the right style. A mysterious "Demon's Mirror" can project a hairstyle into a customer's mind, giving you clues about what they want before you start cutting. As customers return, conversations can touch on relationships, workplace pressure, prejudice, identity, and everyday struggles, turning each haircut into a small character story. (Steam Store) Developed by Safe Flight Games and GameWorks Ventures and published by SIGONO, Beastfolk Barber combines interactive-fiction storytelling with casual simulation and relaxing barbershop gameplay. The game is currently coming soon for PC, with its release date still unannounced. A demo is available on Steam for players who want to try the experience early.
