Jools Lebron begging for coins on TikTok of a lot of influencer problems I'm seeing right now where people just they have to work to get money. Content creator is still a full time. I've been working in the creator economy for over five years now. And I work with a lot of brands to connect them with influencers and creators. So when you're looking for brand partnerships, yes, you're looking for a creator that has great views, a good engagement, a solid following. But that's not everything. Are they truly influencing their followers purchasing power or behavior? When it comes to Jools and her content, she had that awesome moment with "demure" with being "you can't rest on your laurels." Which she literally says in her video. Have you ever been an internet celebrity and tried to get a job? Jools explains why they can't get a job to pay for their dental procedure. She doesn't wanna get a job, she doesn't wanna work. That behavior is going to reflect in your TikTok views, it's going to reflect in your bank account. You need to have a work ethic to get results in the creator economy. And that is the problem. She was given this amazing opportunity to turn this into, like, a business and a brand long term. It's clear that she mismanaged her money. Also, like, the attitude she's shown. I saw this video posted by a creator and he talks about how she treated him so poorly when he went up at an event to reciprocate her advances on Grindr. She ends up posting these videos about him and blasting him and getting other people to talk about him. And also, like, she leads these mobs against other queer people. I'm sorry, but that's not gonna work out in your favor and just having a viral moment and even being a creator with millions of followers doesn't give you the license to treat people that way and think that you're above others. You're above working, people not reciprocating the way you want to be validated. Starting drama and complaining, it's not gonna pay your bills. She's just gonna keep doing this again. It's just enabling behavior.
