POV: Your Bengali friend plans the ULTIMATE Bangladeshi food crawl in Jamaica, Queens 🇧🇩🤌🏽🔥 From fuchka & bhapa pitha to beef bihari, ras malai & cha, this NYC Bangladeshi food crawl will NOT disappoint 🤤 Would you try this Bangladeshi food crawl? 👀 #bangladeshi #bangladeshifood #jamaicaqueens #queensnyc #nycfoodie Hillside Avenue in Jamaica, Queens just might be one of the best places in New York City to go on a Bangladeshi food crawl. So I put together the perfect itinerary for my friends were loving it. My absolute fave Matha Noshto with one of my favourite Bangladeshi street foods, fuchka. And of course, get some jhalmuri to share. These are the most iconic Bangladeshi street foods, the perfect way to start the crawl. Then it was time for the main course, so I took them to Ghoroa where you can pick your dishes buffet style. We went all in with pulao chicken, roast beef bihari, aloo bortha and kurma and my friends were loving it. Next we walked over to Smart Cafe because I wanted them to try something a little more traditional Bangladeshi pitas. And dear to so so nostalgic from my childhood. And finding a all under one roof was hitting jackpot. We grabbed a few of my faves like the pattishupta pita, the theler pita and the bhapa pita, but the bhapa pita was literally the crowd favourite. You can't do a Bangladeshi food crawl without sweets. We stopped by Premium Sweets and grabbed a box of some of their best sellers. The chom chom was so good. And of course, you can't go wrong with rasmalai. We ended the night at Cha er Adda, which is a new spot that just opened up for a cup of cha, because every good Bangladeshi food crawl needs tea. We are stuffed, happy, and already planning our next crawl. So if you're trying Bangladeshi food for the first time, save this itinerary, head to Jamaica, Queens, and show some love to Bangladesh.
