hey girls! super simple, after-shaving leg routine to ensure the smoothest, silkiest skin LEG ROUTINE to ensure the smoothest, silkiest skin super simple, after-shaving leg routine this first choice is optional a bit of inflammation or irritation using witch hazel will calm the area. now to moisturize. i do mist my skin with a bit of water just to make sure that my products are more receptive. for my primary moisturizer. i love a skin-rebuilding body serum or essence. a body toner like this one from knock will also serve you great. remember that any products that you choose to use after shaving, make sure that they're unfragranced as you wanna avoid any inflammation or any burning or irritation on the skin. as well as products that contain skin-health and skin-rebuilding ingredients. since shaving does bring your skin to a state where it's a bit more new, i love prequel's half and half or something like cyklar can even work just as well. next, for your primary moisturizer, you're gonna want a body lotion. this also needs to be unfragranced and containing skin-rebuilding and skin-health ingredients. once your legs are lathered in both of these, you can pay more attention to the harsher areas in the skin. i love using palmer's body balms on my knees. the skin in areas like your knees or elbows are a bit thicker and harsher, so they don't hold on to moisture as well as the rest of your body. so using thicker, heavier, occlusive like this helps a lot in retaining that moisture. this is one of my biggest tips for my bright, clear knees. now to seal everything in, you're gonna use a lightweight oil. again, unfragranced options are gonna serve you best. but i would say in the past, i have used this aveeno oil, which is lightly fragranced, but in the way that it's formulated, it wasn't really irritating to the skin. that one is a pretty good lightweight option if your skin is able to tolerate that little bit of fragrance. although i do prefer other brands and formulas. and will share details on all of those in a little bit. but that is a simple, easy routine. for the smoothest and silkiest skin on the legs. or really any part of the body after shaving. i definitely prefer shaving for my form of hair removal. and love sharing with you all that you can attain this skin with that form.
