5 piercings NEVER

5 piercings I would never get. Coming from someone who's had over 40 piercings. Number one is a tongue piercing. Being this piercing done incorrectly, it can actually be really problematic as well. So yes, they might have a fast healing time, but is it worth the risk? For me, it's not. Number two is an industrial. Two piercings connected by one bar is literally a disaster waiting to happen. Do they look cool? Obviously, yes. But for me, it's not worth the stress and the long healing process. Number three is any kind of dermal piercing. Dermals basically have a 100% rejection rate. Very few people don't reject them, and that's great for those people. But most people don't have that experience. And if you get one on your face, when it does reject, that's going to leave a big visible scar. For me, there's so many better piercings you could get over a dermal. Number four is the cherry. They do not heal. I had mine for over two years. I've healed over 40 piercings. But these won't have any. Yes, they look cool, yes, I love them. But in reality, they weren't worth the stress. And finally, number five has to be a daith piercing. So many people get a daith when they don't have the anatomy for it, which means it either rejects or it never heals.
