Here's 5 piercings I wouldn't get even if they were free. Coming from someone who's had over 40 piercings. Firstly, I would never get a tongue piercing. It's a risky piercing to get in the first place. The chance of hitting a vein is so high. And also piercings in your mouth take so much longer to heal because they're constantly surrounded by moisture. Secondly, a bridge piercing. Now, this isn't because they don't look cool. However, healing is a nightmare. Chance of rejection is very high. For me, when I weigh out the pros and the cons, the cons win. Number three, I would never get any kind of dermal, especially a facial dermal. Hear me out. Because again, these piercings look cool. But the rejection rate on these is ultimately 100%. Some people get lucky and there's never a reject. Good for you guys. Everyone else is in the trenches. And when this piercing does reject, you're gonna have a scar on your face. I just wouldn't do it personally. But if you do it, I love that too. Number four, I personally would never get an industrial. Technically this is two piercings, but I'm gonna class it as one. One single bar connecting two piercings. Two freshly pierced piercings. It's basically a disaster waiting to happen. If you can't catch one of the piercings, you're always gonna catch the other because they're literally connected. They are just a healing nightmare, even though they are the coolest looking ear piercings in my opinion. And finally, the last piercing is actually one that I have myself. I am warning you guys to steer clear. And it is the cherry. Before you attack me, let me explain. Do they look cute? Yes. But they catch on everything. They never heal. Most people reject. Because ultimately it is a surface piercing. Overall, they're just not worth it. So those are the five piercings I would not get even if you paid me to get them. But if you have any of these piercings, let me know what kind of experiences you've had, because maybe you'll change my mind.
