SO THIS IS A FORM THAT ALLOWS FAMILIES TO PUT A LIMIT ON WHETHER THAT'S BECAUSE OF FINANCIAL REASONS OR BECAUSE OF COMMITMENT REASONS. THIS IS THE FORM. ASKING THE DANCERS FIRST AND LAST NAME AT SO I CAN KEEP EVERYTHING ORGANISED AND EXPLAINING WHAT THE SHEET IS. SHEET, I LOOK AT ALL THE COMPETITIONS THAT WE'LL BE ATTENDING TO GIVE AN APPROXIMATE AMOUNT OF WHAT GROUP DANCES WILL COST FOR THAT YEAR. AND I PUT THAT APPROXIMATE AMOUNT ON THE SHEET SO EVERYONE'S FULLY AWARE GONNA COST AND THERE'S NO HIDDEN FEES. THIS FORM IS STRICTLY FOR GROUP DANCES. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE SOLOS, DUOS AND TRIOS. I ALSO HAVE THEM PUT IF THEY'RE DOING ANY OUTSIDE SPORTS OR COMMITMENTS AND THEN THEIR CONTACT INFORMATION, THEIR AGE AND THEIR GRADE. I DO THIS SO A DANCER IS PLAYING A BUNCH OF SPORTS OR IN A BUNCH OF CLUBS, BUT THEN THEY ALSO WANNA BE IN UNLIMITED DANCES. IN MIND WHEN DOING OUR CASTING LIST. THERE'S OPTIONS ON THIS SHEET. SO THERE'S PRODUCTION ONLY, PRODUCTION PLUS ONE GROUP THE WAY DOWN TO PRODUCTION PLUS SEVEN GROUPS. AND THEN THERE'S AN OPTION FOR UNLIMITED. BY SELECTING UNLIMITED DOES NOT MEAN THAT THE DANCER IS GOING TO BE IN UNLIMITED ROUTINES. IT JUST MEANS THAT IT'S GIVING US THE OPTION TO PLACE THEM HOW WE SEE FIT. I ALWAYS RESPECT A DANCER'S LIMITS. SO IF YOU TELL ME THAT YOUR DANCER PRODUCTION PLUS TWO GROUPS, THEY WILL NOT BE PLACED IN ANYTHING MORE. AND THE LAST TWO THINGS ON THE SHEET IS JUST ASKING STYLES THAT YOU'RE INTERESTED IN COMPETING IN. SO I ALWAYS TELL FAMILIES TO KEEP IN MIND THAT YOU'RE ONLY INTERESTED IN JAZZ ROUTINES. BUT THAT YOU ALSO WANNA BE UNLIMITED. LOT HARDER FOR YOUR DANCER TO HAVE A BUNCH OF DANCES TO COMPETING ONE STYLE. AND THE LAST THING IS OPEN TO BEING AN UNDERSTUDY. I'm a 24 year old dance studio owner and it's highly requested that I show you what is in our parent meeting folder. So let's do it part 1. First thing is our dancer preference and limits form. So this is a form that allows families to put a limit on whether that's because of financial reasons or because of commitment reasons. This is the form. Asking the dancers first and last name at so I can keep everything organised and explaining what the sheet is. Sheet, I look at all the competitions that we'll be attending to give an approximate amount of what group dances will cost for that year. And I put that approximate amount on the sheet so everyone's fully aware gonna cost and there's no hidden fees. This form is strictly for group dances. It does not include solos, duos and trios. I also have them put if they're doing any outside sports or commitments and then their contact information, their age and their grade. I do this so a dancer is playing a bunch of sports or in a bunch of clubs, but then they also wanna be in unlimited dances. In mind when doing our casting list. There's options on this sheet. So there's production only, production plus one group, the way down to production plus seven groups. And then there's an option for unlimited. By selecting unlimited does not mean that the dancer is going to be in unlimited routines. It just means that it's giving us the option to place them how we see fit. I always respect a dancer's limits. So if you tell me that your dancer production plus two groups, they will not be placed in anything more. And the last two things on the sheet is just asking styles that you're interested in competing in. So I always tell families to keep in mind that you're only interested in jazz routines. But that you also wanna be unlimited. Lot harder for your dancer to have a bunch of dances to competing one style. And the last thing is open to being an understudy. I love having understudies for our routines. If a dancer gets sick or they get injured. We always are prepared. And then at the end, signature from a dancer and the parent just confirming a recap of their phone number and email. And that's our dancer preference and limits form.
