Why it worked

The video creatively combines the popular ASMR trend with a common skincare routine, using paper cutouts of recognizable products to create a unique and engaging visual. This novelty captures attention and makes the promotion memorable without being overtly salesy.

Summary

The creator demonstrates a skincare routine using paper cutouts of Cetaphil products, mimicking an ASMR experience. They apply the paper versions of a scrub, cleanser, and moisturizer to their face, highlighting the products' benefits and the resulting soft skin.

Structure

1Introduction with paper Cetaphil products
2Demonstration of paper scrub application
3Demonstration of paper cleanser application
4Demonstration of paper moisturizer application
5Resulting soft skin and glowing appearance

Product placement

Cetaphil (brand): Appears as a logo watermark at the top left. Its products (paper cutouts) are shown and used. Removing it would change the video's subject. Cetaphil Canada (brand): Appears as a hashtag in the caption. It is the brand of the products being featured. Removing it would not change the video's content.

Doing my skincare with Cetaphil BUT.. it's paper! First we need to exfoliate. This is the Cetaphil Extra Gentle Daily Scrub. It's for all skin types. Next we have the Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser. It minimizes pores and reduces excess oil. And last but not least, our Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream. This is for sensitive skin. And we'll just get a little of that moisturizer. It makes your skin so soft. I'm absolutely glowing, thanks Cetaphil!
