Don't go in debt over your wedding, but some things are worth the price

Everything I regret about my wedding is that I didn't spend more money. Like when you're planning a wedding, almost everyone I know goes to this moment where they're like, this is crazy, why are we spending this much money on one singular night? I feel silly, I feel stupid, do we just elope, etc. At the end of the day, we decided we're definitely like wedding big wedding people, who are gonna go through with it. And at the time we got married, we were younger for like our age groups, or like our friends and family who had older they were when they typically got married and we didn't have very much money to spend on our wedding, so we cut corners and I was watching our wedding video today just for funsies and it had to stop after dinner because that's all we could afford and that's a major regret. I wish that camera was on the dance floor with us until midnight. I wish it caught the first dance of my dad and I, the cake cutting, all of that. And every time I think about my wedding, the only regret I have is that I didn't spend more money. So let me just say, if you're freaking out about your wedding being like, oh my gosh, I'm spending this much money on one night, how am I gonna do this? It makes me feel sick, it makes me feel ill. I have never thought about the money I spent on my wedding once since I spent it. I was worth every penny. I'm so happy we did and I wish we spent more. I wish we spent more money.
