Sometimes we ask Allah, “Ya Allah, make this person better for me.” But Allah, in His wisdom, may choose to remove that person from our life instead. Because maybe the person was never willing to change. Maybe we were asking Allah to transform someone who wasn’t even asking for transformation themselves. And sometimes, Allah’s answer to “make them better for me” is simply: “They are not better for you, so I will save you from them.” What feels like loss today may actually be Allah’s protection. What feels like heartbreak may be His mercy. And what feels like unanswered dua may be Allah answering it in a way you couldn’t see yet. Allah didn’t take them away to punish you. He may have taken them away to protect you. 🤍
