Tahajjud didn’t make me hate people. It didn’t make me stop loving them either. It just slowly taught me that not everyone needs access to every part of my story. Some people will never understand the decisions you made to survive, the way you parent, the risks you took, or the version of you that had to break before becoming this one. And maybe they’re not supposed to. They didn’t see those nights. They didn’t hear those duas. They weren’t there for those conversations between you and Allah. So why are we exhausting ourselves trying to make everyone understand the morning they never saw the night behind? Be honest with Allah. Let people misunderstand if they choose to. Your Rabb knows the version of your story that was never told. 🤍 Episode 8 — What Tahajjud Taught Me
