My video telling you guys to move to a walkable city has almost 4 million views, which is insane. But you're wondering where, of course, I'm gonna deliver. Okay, first starters, San Francisco and New York City. I think these are the most desirable. They're absolutely insane to live in. I think lean towards San Francisco if you like more nature, you like hiking, you like being outside. You may be less of a party animal because things do close pretty early. Whereas New York is amazing if you want that city life. You want endless restaurants, different thrift stores, you want to stay out late, you want the rooftop. The only caveat with these is they are expensive as hell. If you don't have a really high paying job, be ready to have roommates and make a lot of financial sacrifices. I didn't want to do that. So that is why I live in Chicago, which is another amazing recommendation. Chicago and I would say Philly are both really great if you're just an average person, you want to be around normal people that don't really care about your status. You still want a ton of things to do, you want to be able to walk and pay a reasonable price for rent. And then two other cities that are in between on the scale of affordability, I would say DC, Jersey City, and maybe Boston. Boston still really expensive, y'all. But I think these are great options because they're still East Coast, you can access nature, you can visit so many different cities. Chicago sometimes feels like you are a bit stranded in the Midwest despite their airport being great. You need to research all the pros and cons of these cities yourself though. I can't make the decision for you. And then some honorable mentions, cities that aren't super walkable as a whole, but do have walkable neighborhoods. Miami, you can live in Brickell, Seattle, Portland, there's different pockets that you can find where you are able to walk, but you probably will still need a car in the city as a whole if you do want to leave your neighborhood. Okay, hopefully this was helpful, maybe inspired you to research and figure out where you want to move. Comment what you think below.
