My recommendation for a first solo trip

If you've been wanting to take a solo trip but you're a little too afraid, here's where I would recommend going. San Francisco, USA. I recently did the solo trip and it was literally the best few days of my life and it was so easy. And you're in the same country, so there's a lot less room for error. Why am I recommending San Francisco? Because A, there's a ton of free stuff. B, you can walk or take the public transit. You do not need a car. And three, there's a lot of great hostel options that are very affordable. And you can stay in a room with people so you have people to do stuff with if you feel like it. When I was there, I saw all the parks. I saw the slanted street with the houses. I ran across Golden Gate Bridge. I went and saw the seals. I was never bored. I had some amazing food, and I felt so safe. San Francisco has a bad rep. Just do not go into the tenderloin and you'll be okay. My first solo trip was flying across the Atlantic Ocean and staying in Europe for six months. I don't know if I'd recommend that, so maybe try this.
