It might be a rental but to us the “work” to fix it up a little is more than worth it! How else are we supposed to enjoy it??? We aren’t going to clear EVERYTHING just enough to have the dead grass gone up top for seating / hammocks. We are clearing where the water comes up for enough to sit / fish down there but then leaving the middle foliage area. It’ll be interesting to see how much the water rises over the next year. We will probably have the best idea of what that’ll look like in spring. Maybe I should wait until then before I make the steps down!
