How to pass SWE technical Interviews

I'm a software engineer and interviewer at Amazon and the first thing you wanna do here is master one coding language. Most people will pick Python, but it doesn't necessarily need to be. I personally use Java, but you just need one language you're good at, especially in an interview setting. Next thing you want to do is get really good at pattern recognition on those LeetCode style problems. The last thing you want to be doing is memorizing questions and answers because that is literally gambling. The chances of those exact questions in an interview setting are very, very low. Nowadays, interviewers will put a twist on even the most traditional problems. So they look different, but the underlying pattern is the same. And so if you recognize that, you will still get the answer. A resource like NeetCode 150 or Blind 75 are still a great way to get good at those pattern recognitions, even though those exact questions may not come up. And for company specific questions, you can use this free GitHub repo called “leetcode-company-wise-problems” which has the commonly asked questions for each company, which is a great way to gauge it out.
