THERE ARE MULTIPLE

There are multiple places in the world running out of water right now, like we're not talking about it at all. In Puerto Rico, San Juan now have restrictions where one day with and then two days without water. I mean, you turn on the tap and nothing. But the American Southwest is also running out of water. This is one of Arizona's largest reservoirs. It is currently at 1% capacity. It is so bad that there are no more fish in the lake because they have all died. This used to be a ramp and it now just goes into grass. And in Europe, the river has gotten so low it is exposing shipwrecks from World War 2 and woolly mammoth bones from the Ice Age. But that's not the worst part. Hungary has had to shut down its nuclear power plant for the first time since it was built because there's not enough water in the Danube to cool it. This is a huge deal because Hungary gets 50% of its electricity from this one power plant. And Romania is about to shut down its nuclear power plant because again, that's not enough water. Now, there's multiple reasons for all this stuff. El Niño weather events, human mismanagement, a consequence of an Earth that is just getting hotter. And I think it's crazy how little news coverage most of this stuff has gotten. This translates to "We demand water" and I fear that, you know, these kind of signs might be showing up in your neighborhood one day, cause this, this issue is of us.
