TikTok 2026 Update

TikTok just gave us a cheat code and it's probably one of the easiest ways to get more engagement right now. So if your account has been feeling stuck lately, try this one. Hit the plus sign, but instead of recording a video, you're gonna slide over to that text feature. This is the part that matters though. Don't just type something random like how was your day going? You wanna ask something that people are actually gonna wanna answer. Something that they're immediately gonna have an opinion on. And everyone has opinions on this app. And preferably something that relates back to your niche if you can do it that way, okay? Okay, if you post fitness content, ask something fitness related. If you post mom content, ask what's one thing you swore your kids would never do until you became a mom? You see the difference there? Those are questions that people can immediately relate to and actually want an answer. And that's exactly what you want, because the whole point here is to get your audience interacting with your content. The more people comment and engage, the more signals TikTok is getting that people are actually interested in what you posted. And if you have no idea what questions to ask, just go ask chat GPT or something like that. Tell it to give you 20 questions that people in your niche would actually wanna answer, and then you're gonna hit next. TikTok is going to automatically turn your text into those flyer style posts, you just pick the one that you like, add a sound, and post it. And yes, I would still take that same post and add that to your story. Because most creators try stories a few times, barely get any views, and then they decide that they don't work and they stop using them. But you have to use these features consistently if you actually wanna build momentum on your account. So try it today. Ask your audience something that they can't help but answer.
