This is the before and this is the after skin cycling edition. Trust me, this is the holy trinity you do want to reach at some point in your life because now you can target PIH and acne scars with azelaic acid in the morning. Then I'm using mandelic acid, which is targeting texture on the top layer of your skin, which is not going to really penetrate into your skin, which is why pairing with the retinol twice a week is perfect because then you can see like these deep bumps and retinol has been, which is why they're coming out to the surface right now. But it took months because you actually have to train your skin to build up tolerance. So what you're going to do is you're going to start with a mandelic acid because this is an AHA and it works on a surface of your skin, especially if you have textured skin. This is like the gentlest ingredient to start with. And once your skin can tolerate this kind of, you can add azelaic acid into your routine. I use it in the AM every day. Now when you do incorporate azelaic acid, you do want to choose the right product for your skin because some are too strong and I would get like contact dermatitis around my nose. But this one from Experiment, I've been using it recently. I started using Differin gel. And if you don't have this, use Differin gel. And once you all three products in your routine, you can use your azelaic acid every morning. For the PM, use retinol twice a week and then five times a week, I use mandelic acid. The reason why I don't have rest days or recovery days is because it's summer and I'll be sweating all the freaking time. And I know that mandelic acid is gentle enough on my skin. So obviously like test out your skin, see your tolerance and then see how you can build up. Ask any questions, I'm happy to help.
