since you asked, here’s my current skincare routine as an aesthetician <3 I have mildly sensitive, oily, acne-prone skin. the journey to clear skin wasn’t linear but we got there 🪽 #skincareroutine #skincaretips #aesthetician #glassskinroutine #bestskincareproducts Starting with my pre-cleanser. I use Garnier's micellar water. The reason I use this as opposed to a traditional oil cleanser is just because of my sensitive skin. Sometimes the oil cleansing route can irritate my skin. Then for my actual cleanser I use Epionce's gentle foaming cleanser. This is a medical skincare brand that I carry in my spa. I like it because it's formulated by dermatologists, it's botanically based, there's no added fragrance and honestly, it just really agrees with my skin. Now for my serums and active ingredients. First up I have Paula's Choice 6% mandelic acid + 2% lactic acid liquid exfoliant. I am prone to closed comedones on my skin and I find that this specific liquid exfoliant is amazing for getting rid of them. I've tried Paula's Choice BHA and I found that it just was not as good at tackling the closed comedones as the mandelic acid. I usually apply this in the morning but sometimes at night as well. My next serum is Epionce's lytic plus treatment. I use this nightly. It's a combination of salicylic acid and glycolic acid. This is a really good option if you are too sensitive to tolerate retinoids. Next for my spot treatment if I have particularly bad breakout, Adapalene and Benzoyl Peroxide topical. This is 0.3% adapalene and 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. I haven't had to use her in a while thanks to my other products. This technically is a retinoid but I find that my skin just tolerates this better but only in spot treatment not applied all over the face. But if you're sensitive like me this is a really good retinoid choice if you have acne prone skin. My last active ingredient is the BioRePeel TCA chemical peel, which is a 30% TCA chemical peel. I do this about every four to six weeks. This is a professional product so you can only get it if you are a licensed professional or if you go to a spa and can get this treatment done. This is my favorite chemical peel of all time. Nothing leaves my post inflammatory pigmentation, gets rid of breakouts, helps with skin texture, overall complexion. It is just truly an amazing product. And the reason that I really like this peel is I just get very mild flaking and dryness afterwards. It's not like a really intense recovery process. So if there's a spot near you that offers a biorepeel, yes, even Fitzpatrick 4-6 all skin tones I highly, highly recommend. Now for my moisturizers. If I'm feeling more dry I will use Epionce renewal facial lotion. This saved my skin barrier from tretinoin and truly their line of moisturizers is the best I have ever tried and believe me I have tried every medical grade skincare that is out there. On-ingredients skin barrier calming lotion. This has such a wonderful creamy consistency. It soaks into the skin beautifully. Makes primer really well on top of it. I really cannot say enough good things about this. I'm pretty sure this is like my eighth bottle of this moisturizer. My SPF, which I apply rain or shine and you should too. First up is the Round Lab birch juice SPF 50PA+++. Zero white cast, no harsh smells, it doesn't burn the eyes. It's so smooth, it soaks into the skin beautifully. My second choice is the Hyal Reyouth SPF 50PA+++. This has a very similar consistency to the birch juice. I just prefer the birch juice for whatever reason, but this is also a phenomenal option. There's also a sheet mask from Beauty of Joseon that I like. I don't have one on me now but I'll put up a picture here so you can see it. This one is great too. Bioance REJUVENATING CAVIAR PDRN REAL DEEP MASK. this one is great too. I use these instead of the medi cube the medi cube has so much added fragrance in it that it's not good for your skin. This is a much better option. There's also a sheet mask from Beauty of Joseon that I like. I don't have one on me now but I'll put up a picture here so you can see it. Okay my angels that is everything I use in my skincare routine. if you have any questions about skincare feel free to drop them below if you have any recommendations you want me to try out please let me know. thank you for watching <3
