Why it worked

The video taps into nostalgia for a specific social app and the relatable experience of revisiting past digital interactions, encouraging viewers to do the same.

Summary

The creator revisits old screenshots from the Yubo app, reminiscing about past conversations and deciding to log back into the app to connect with new people.

Structure

1Finding old Yubo screenshots
2Reflecting on past bio and conversations
3Logging back into Yubo
4Deciding to reconnect and meet new people

Product placement

Yubo: (a) it ACTS - it is an app where users can connect with others, find friends, and chat. Removing it would change what happens in the video. (b) it merely APPEARS - a corner watermark, a channel or studio logo, an end card, a credit, a name on clothing, a repost stamp. Removing it would change what happens in the video.

Transcript

I found old Yubo screenshots in my camera roll so I had to log back in. Why was this my bio? So cool. I remember we used to talk about the most random things. For me, I think I'm staying to reconnect and meet new people.
