This might be a Barcelona hot take, but here are the things I would recommend skipping. I'm Chris, I'm a travel advisor. I've been to Barcelona over 10 times and here are the things that I think tourists go to, not really worth it. First is Las Ramblas. You're gonna find this is where a lot of tourists walk. It is full of people trying to sell you things, vendors, really overpriced and not good restaurants. It is just somewhere you don't really need to go. The street itself is fine, but it's nothing that special. So go here for La Boqueria, the main market that a lot of tourists visit. That is my second thing that I think is pretty skippable is La Boqueria. Yes, it's the most famous Mercado market in Barcelona. It's busy, crowded, overpriced, full of tourists. A lot of people get pickpocketed here. So there are so many other incredible, more authentic markets in Barcelona that you can visit. La Boqueria itself feels every time there. You can go to a bunch of other mercados that are walking distance of La Boqueria, Santa Caterina market, off of Via Laietana, which is just a 10-minute walk east of Boqueria is a great option. It's a lot cleaner, a little calmer, the has the same amount of like places to shop and places to eat and things to buy. So find yourself another mercado that's not full of tourists. Third, I think the iconic Hotel W Hotel and that beach strip is skippable. If you want to go to the beach, there's a ton of sandy areas around the coast of Barcelona that you can actually recommend taking a quick trip to Sitges or Costa Brava, just north of Barcelona, for incredible coves and beaches. If you want to do a beach day, of course, it's a little further, but the W Hotel, it's really removed from everything there. I know a lot of people want to go there and stay there. Personally, I don't think it is worth it. There's a bunch of incredible places and beaches in Barcelona that you can visit. So, the the W Hotel and that immediate area. Anything else that should be added to this list?
