These are the four luxury hotel properties I visited in Mallorca and what I think of each of them. I'm Chris, I'm a travel advisor. I just spent the last 12 days in Mallorca exploring different parts of the island and different hotel properties. Four of these properties made it through my top list and I ended up staying at all of them and here's exactly what I think about each one. Started off with two nights at Castell Son Claret. This is a countryside property that does a fantastic job of bringing wellness, farm to table food, and upscale vibe, but still has that rustic flavor of Mallorcan countryside property. This was one of the more affordable of the four stays and I think it was really good value for what we got. Loved the food here, the staff was friendly, the views from the room were incredible. I love that they had bikes that you could take around the property. They had a beautiful pool. Food was really good. It was a little bit more upscale wanted, maybe for an everyday meal. They also have an onsite Michelin star restaurant, but it really would value. This was definitely a property I'd come back to. After that, we went to Aethos Mallorca. This is on the south coast. It's about 30 minutes from Palma. We chose this property because we wanted something on the coastline on a beautiful cove with views. It delivered the more hip design forward, loungey vibe and they did a really good job of taking advantage of the cliff side that they're on. The rooms overlook the water, it's crystal clear blue water. This was the best view that we had hotel from a hotel room on the entire pool area really nice. The food here is really good and forward, healthy forward, which I liked. The one downside of this property, in my opinion, was actually the design and furniture. Everything just felt a little bit outdated and corporate in a way. For a property to be really upscale in Mallorca, I would have loved to have seen something more modern. But if you do want to be on the water and still have something upscale on the island, this could also be a great option for you. Fourth and last property we stayed at was Son Brull Hotel & Spa. This was near the town of Pollensa. It's on the eastern side of the island and my my favorite of the four. This is a true Majorcan Finca property, converted monastery. They kept so many beautiful elements of that property inside their property. They have the old olive smasher and crusher in their bar area. They have a beautiful pool, amazing food on site, massages here as well, which were incredible. This is a true countryside wellness getaway that I would recommend clients. I would definitely come back here first. I wanted to spend like two weeks just disconnect. We only stayed for three nights, but we had a beautiful room with a terrace, the entire property surrounded by vineyards, trees, and olive trees and mountain goats and just it just felt incredible. The staff was so attentive and friendly here and the design of the property was beautiful. They had free e-bikes that you could take into the town of Pollensa. It was a 10 minute bike ride away. Everything was just flawless. Thing that I can't think of one thing that I would change about Son Brull. And if you are heading to Mallorca, definitely one that I would consider for a countryside wellness retreat. All of these properties are preferred hotel partners.
