Why it worked
The video likely worked due to the satisfying and slightly gross visual of pore strip removal, which is a popular niche on platforms like TikTok. The relatable quote about skincare adds a touch of humor and commentary.
Summary
The video shows a close-up of someone's face where a pore strip is being applied and then removed. The pore strip is covered in removed blackheads and debris. The on-screen text features a quote from a boyfriend stating he doesn't need skincare at 27 years old.
