I just recently got a credit line increase on one of my American Express cards. You should be asking for credit line increases every 60, 90, and 180 days to make sure your available credit is really high. Because the more available credit, the lower utilization, the better your score is going to be. So let's go step by step on how to do this with American Express. So first things first. If you have any American Express credit cards, your app is going to look just like this. You wanna select a credit line you want a credit line increase for. You're gonna click on these three dots with a circle. Once you went ahead and clicked on those three dots with a circle, you're gonna scroll down until you see Request Credit Line Increase. If you're eligible with any of your American Express card, your screen is going to look exactly like this. If you are not eligible for credit line increases with any of your card, your screen will look verbatim like this. And it will tell you you were recently approved for a line increase. You're not eligible to request a Credit Limit increase on this card because you were recently approved for a line increase. You're not eligible at this time. If you want the highest probability of getting approved with American Express, it is well known that you need to do two or three times your current limit. Once you inputted two or three times your current limit, two things are gonna happen. Your screen's gonna look exactly like this, meaning you got approved, or you would have been denied and you're gonna try again next time. And typically, once you get approval, once you go back to the normal screen, your credit limit has changed almost instantaneously. And yes, we already know the Gold or Platinum card does not have a preset spending limit. Thanks for telling us the obvious, we don't care.
