Crispy Tortilla Rose Appetizers 🌹✨ These beautiful tortilla roses look fancy, but they're surprisingly easy to make! Crispy golden tortilla petals, a creamy whipped cheese center, and fresh basil leaves come together for an appetizer that's guaranteed to impress. Ingredients: • Large flour tortillas • Melted butter • White sandwich bread • Whipped cream cheese (or Boursin) • Fresh basil leaves • Small edible flowers (optional) Directions: 1. Cut flour tortillas into 3½–4-inch (9–10 cm) circles. 2. Layer 7 tortilla circles around the rim of a drinking glass to create a rose shape. 3. Transfer the flower into a muffin tin and carefully remove the glass. 4. Lightly brush the petals with melted butter. 5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes, or until the petals are lightly golden and crisp. 6. Cut small rounds from white sandwich bread and lightly toast for 3–5 minutes, until just golden. 7. Pipe a generous swirl of whipped cream cheese onto each toasted bread round. 8. Place the cooled tortilla rose onto the cream cheese so it stands upright. 9. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and tiny edible flowers, then serve. 💡 Tip: Let the tortilla roses cool in the muffin tin for 5 minutes before removing them. This helps them hold their beautiful flower shape and become extra crispy. #appetizers #partyfood #EasyRecipes #fingerfood #charcuterie
