Why it worked

The video uses a relatable personal anecdote about friendships and insecurity, combined with a simple, everyday action (pouring milk) to illustrate the point, making it easily digestible and shareable.

Summary

The creator discusses how people who are insecure tend to distance themselves from those who challenge them to grow. She uses the act of pouring oat milk into a mug as a visual element while explaining that true friends support each other's growth, even through difficult conversations.

no will cut you off quicker than someone that you make insecure Remember that no one is going to cut you off quicker than someone who you put pressure on to become a better version of themselves if they don't want that. They're people who want to surround themselves with people who they think that they're better than. So that they feel better about themselves. And trust me, that's not something to lose sleep over because it's not someone you want to be friends with anyway. And they'll probably surround themselves with people that are less experienced or younger than them so that they feel better. And trust me, that's not something to lose sleep over because it's not someone you want to be friends with anyway. Something I've learned in adult friendships is that you hold each other accountable. You push each other to be the best version of yourself and you want the best for each other, even when that requires an uncomfortable conversation or saying, hey, I don't think you handle this in a way that serves you best. And if you're around someone who doesn't want that, they don't want to be called out, they don't want to be held accountable, they don't want to feel like they're failing or they have things they need to work on, then they will distance themselves from you so quick. And they'll probably surround themselves with people that are less experienced or younger than them so that they feel better. And trust me, that's not something to lose sleep over because it's not someone you want to be friends with anyway.
