I don’t care that it’s August. Spooky season starts NOW for me. Here are some Halloween costumes that I want to see this year. My number one is the brides from Van Helsing. This was one of my favorite movies as a kid and it still holds up today. These costumes are just phenomenal. They are sexy, they're well done, they're very Victorian. I don't know what more you could want on a vampire costume. Honorable mention for their true vampire form because it's so fucking sick. Then we have Baby Doll from Sucker Punch. This is another one of my favorite movies. The looks in this movie are just so good. And I've seen Baby Doll a few times but I really want to see the whole group together. I want to see a group of girls nail these costumes. And the cool thing is there's so many different looks from this movie that you could do depending on where they are in their imagination. Then of course I have to mention the Silent Hill nurses. This costume is so good every single time. It's that perfect blend of gross, gory, bloody, scary, but also very feminine. Silent Hill really is the coolest horror video game ever made. For a larger group, I really want to see Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2003. The main group, those outfits were so cool and so effortless and it's something that you could easily find in your closet, get a little bit dirty, get a little bit of a lot on it. And it's the perfect Halloween costume. It has that classic 2000s nostalgia that I've been loving lately and I think it would be so easy to bring to life. Then I have a cult classic, Lisa from Girl Interrupted. This character holds such a special place in my heart. I love the crazy, wacky, manic cut bangs. I love the fur jacket and the little belt that she wears. And again, it's a pretty easy costume to put together and also a good excuse to carry a pack of cigarettes with you and smoke them all night. It's Angelina Jolie. What more do you want? My last is a two for one. I really want to see Elle Driver and O-Ren Ishii from Kill Bill. Don't get me wrong, I love Beatrix Kiddo, I love Go-Go, but I feel like they're a little bit overplayed. And I feel like they deserve their time in the spotlight. Or just do the whole Deadly Viper Assassination Squad. Or I'm sorry, the Hotaru. I have a list of my fucking long of Halloween costumes that I love. But I'm curious, what are you guys being for Halloween this year? Or what's the costume that you want to see in the wild?
