Yarn dyers, I'm begging you, begging you to please put swatch photos in your listings for your variegated yarns. Begging you. I will not buy yarn if there's I won't do it. As much as I may love what the on the hank, I have seen listings where I see it on, see it on. I realize that's not at all what I pictured. If I bought that yarn, I would have been disappointed. It works up differently than what I thought based on the in the hank. I'll show you two examples from a brand I love who's very good about swatch photos. First one, I can't tell from the hank how going to be versus how much of it's gonna be orange. If I just looked at this, it's gonna be a more dominant color. And then I see the swatch, I work it up if there weren't a photo, that's gonna throw off my project. If I thought it would be more blue than there actually is. Or this one here, when I see the knit swatch, that's way greener than I expected. That's not a bad thing. I love the swatch too, but it's not what I pictured looking at the hank. Sometimes it's really hard to visualize. We start talking crochet swatches too, other ball of wax, because knit swatches and crochet swatches can have entirely different presentations of those same exact colors. Again, not a good or bad thing necessarily. It's just different. And I wanna know that. So I will not buy your yarn online if there aren't swatch photos. So this is half me pleading and also yarn brands. DM me. I will do it for you. Send me a mini hank of yarn. I feel so strongly about this. I will make your swatches for you.
