All the comments that said I twisted my stitches at first too were right. And I'm so grateful for that because I started it over. So I have not frog the old one. I just cut it and I'll frog it when I run out of yarn because I wanted to compare. It's all learning experience, right? That's the whole purpose is to learn. A new skill. Okay, or learning a new skill. Whatever I have to tell myself to keep myself cool. So here's the old one. Ugly. And here's the new one. And now that I know what a twisted stitch is, how stitches get twisted, I know how I did it. I'm a crocheter, so I guess the way I was wrapping the yarn on the knit stitches it just defaulted to clockwise. When the stitches should be wrapped counterclockwise. Folks, don't make that mistake. So here's the old one. Ugly. And here's the new one. I like this yarn before, but I actually like it so much better now. The stripes look nice and they lay so nicely. So I did start completely from scratch. And I think that this sweater benefited from that. It benefited from me actually knitting the right way. But the collar looks a lot cleaner. There's no gaps up here. I think it's going to fit nicer. It stretches how it's supposed to. It stretches how it's supposed to. So I have about six rounds left until I split off for the sleeves. But I think this sweater benefited from that. Obviously, it benefited from me actually knitting the right way. But the collar looks a lot cleaner. There's no gaps up here. I think it's going to fit nicer. It stretches how it's supposed to. So I have about six rounds left until I split off for the sleeves. But thank you guys for your comments about twisted stitches. I didn't even know what it was a week ago. So, even though it sucked starting over, it is nice to teach my brain how to do it the right way. And actually have a garment that I think I'll wear. So again, the new. And the old. Holding them side by side. That's a big difference. And I know some people say that twisted stitches are a design choice. It's not for me. I know some people say that twisted stitches are a design choice. It's not for me. So take it from me. If you crochet and you're getting into knitting, wrap your stitches counterclockwise. Thank you.
