A lot of new friends here from
our recent post, so we
wanted to share a bit about
our journey.
I didn't always get along with
my family. My parents were
young when they had me
And I'm the oldest of 5.
Study to show thyself
approved unto God,
a workman that needeth not
to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth,
II TIMOTHY 2:15
But Jesus found me. I follow
Him. He saved me at age 20
and I chased Him
passionately all the way to
Bible college where I met my
husband.
We dated for 6.5 months
before he proposed. But
were engaged for almost 2
years (mainly so I could
study abroad in Greece and
Rome).
We never got a "dream wedding"
My husband and I got married in 2020
during Covid - so we cancelled our big
wedding and had an intimate one instead.
My husband is in youth ministry
And we both teach the Bible
I always struggled with having a desire to have kids and even be married. So naturally, I....
got a Master's degree in
Systematic Theology...
and am still working on a
second master's currently.
I also started a business
(social media, video editing,
AI, and consulting)
Last October the Lord told us
to start a family. I was angry
because it wasn't in my plans
But God changed my heart
And now we're having our
first baby in October in our
30s.
God has done much in our
lives. So we're excited to
share more of His goodness
in the trials and in the joy.
