Why it worked
The video taps into fan sentiment and nostalgia for the show and its cast, creating an emotional connection that resonates with viewers who are also sad about the potential end of the cast's time together.
Summary
The video shows the cast of the show Outer Banks on a stage, with a large screen behind them displaying promotional material for the show. The on-screen text expresses sadness that this might be the last time the cast is together.
Structure
- 1Cast members walk onto a stage
- 2They gather together
- 3The screen behind them shows show promotion
- 4On-screen text expresses sentiment about the cast being together
- 5Cast members interact and wave
Product placement
Netflix: it APPEARS as a logo on the screen, and removing it would not change what happens in the video.
