here are three expensive crafting/journaling items that I think are worth your money. Number one, a photo printer. Not like a small photo printer like the mini ones. I mean like a bigger full-size photo printer. I have been using the Canon SELPHY since high school. I really love it because you can print like four by six pictures. Then if you want a smaller one, you can just cut it up into different sizes. Personally, I prefer this over ones that use zink vs dye-sublimation, both thermal transfer with different longevity. I have had problems with mini photo printers because they come out like kind of blue, blurry, and then they will fade eventually because they're made with heat technology. As someone who has a journal ecosystem of like five journals all the time, I've realized one of the most important things to making sure that I don't get backlogged on things I want to journal about is having the tools to journal about them right then and there. For me, having the ability to print a picture as soon as I come back from traveling or as soon as I want to journal about something, it just makes sure that I will sit and I will journal. Otherwise, it'll never get done. Second is a label printer/maker. I actually have two label printers by Brother. I have a Rilakkuma one that I bought from Korea and I have a regular label printer that was recently gifted to me by brother, the P-Touch Cube. Label printers actually have a really big range of colors and ribbons depending on what type of label printer you have and what brand you go with. Whenever I feel like my planner is looking a little bit boring or I want to add some color and variance in my writing, I will print out a label. If I'm going on a trip, I will print out like, oh, trip to this city. Just prints up the page. It adds something new, something fun. Aside from decorating purposes, the label printer comes in handy once in a while, just to label household goods or traveling products. Very efficient. Very functional. So I really recommend it. Third, I have a kind of over the top one, but it's great for people who really enjoy crafting and take it very seriously. I think the Cricut is a great machine to have. I have a Cricut Explore Air. I originally bought it because I'm an artist and illustrator and when I opened up my small business selling stickers and stationery, I needed a cutting machine. If you're a DIY person, the Cricut is great because it can also cut vinyl for you, if you want to make like an iron-on t-shirt or something, you can cut it using the Cricut. I didn't realize how many random things you wish you could cut or you would need a Cricut for before I had one, but now that I do, I'm really glad I do because it's great. It's great. And these are all items that I first bought for myself with my own money. I would gladly repurchase them if I lost them. I think they're great fun as I said.
