This week, 190 dogs were given something they didn’t have before…hope. ❤️ Two moms and 15 puppies traveled from Georgia to begin their next chapter with us. Eleven dogs were surrendered by local owners, and one dog entered our military boarding program, where they’ll be loved and cared for while their military family serves. We also took in two strays from Palm Beach County who had been left to navigate the world on their own. For two dogs, getting to us was especially urgent. A sweet blind Frenchie arrived fighting to recover from heat stroke and pneumonia, while another dog needed medical attention for an old hip injury. We also made room for two dogs from an overcrowded local animal control facility, giving them the space, care, and second chance they desperately needed. But the largest rescue of the week was one we will never forget. 155 beagles were saved from six decades of laboratory testing at Ridglan Farms. For all 190, this week marks the beginning of something new.
