Sometimes we mistake being bad at something for being incapable. A fish can spend its entire life trying to climb a tree and still fail every single time. But its failure doesn't mean the fish is stupid. It means the test was never designed for what the fish was built to do. We do the same thing to ourselves. We compare our lives to people whose circumstances are completely different. We measure our intelligence by someone else's strengths. We judge our progress using someone else's timeline. And after failing at the wrong things repeatedly, we begin to believe that we are the problem. Maybe you aren't. Maybe you're simply trying to grow in an environment that doesn't recognise your strengths. That doesn't mean you should stop improving. It means you should learn the difference between a weakness that needs work and a strength that has never been given the right opportunity.
