So basically what this device does is it operates very similar to a walkie-talkie. So like but a way cooler. Me out, um, like when you, when you click and you know of each other, I'm gonna hear you. Same with this. So I, this, so I, a like, a phone, you text with this. Send a text. Hey Sean, um, hey Sean, um, within 100 feet, receive it, um, receive it, um, you're 10 miles away from me. Away from me. This antenna isn't going 10 miles. Talkie. 10 miles, the reason why they call it Meshtastic is because it's the devices in between you to mesh together to get that message to the intended recipient. Of that, it's fully encrypted. The message are carrying that message until it gets to you, but none of them can hear your voice until the destination. So there's a primary channel which is just like non-encrypted, everybody's conversations in there. That's great for the natural emergency or emergencies. And then let's something private. This has no cellular connection, no monthly bill. This is straight own transmit and from that antenna. Um, and uh, and you can 100% anonymous with this and no anything. This is could maliciously to be honest with you. Anything, um, like I don't think it I, it's, it's just super cool device. I'll, I'll, I'll, but the way is actually with that specific one. You need the the Meshtastic app on your phone. Connect it via Bluetooth and then you can send and receive messages. But, uh, there you can buy that are pre-built that, uh, Blackberries actually. They have like little keyboards on in with the send a message from the actual device itself and receive messages itself. That is just a Bluetooth like gonna be your, the, okay. Yeah. Goes from your phone to this through the mesh. I'll show you. You connect in, you're on there. Tell you the around you, which we're in isn't gonna have, but once we would messages channels, primary channel and just say, hey, I need help. For example, I scare anybody and scare anybody and then now it's acknowledged. It's waiting for somebody to acknowledge with their radio. It's gonna acknowledge this message to as many people as possible. A channel that everyone can see. Holy shit. And then there's this one called secret into this radio, own private key. So if I'm, let's say I'm 100 miles away, I can send and it's gonna of other people's message to you, but they're not I said their radios to you hopping off of them. Damn. Of them damn. How long does get that message? It's a decentralized network. Terms like that that if the down, grid went down, the batteries on things last so long 'cause they're low power and they're long range and, um, they're, they're, I mean, like all in on that thing, like 30 bucks. Are you serious? Yeah. To have that backpack, something ever happens, God forbid, um, it can't hurt to use. I don't own source project.
